The Emile Pernot Distilleries have been crafting absinthe since the drink was born. Using their rooted history and celebrated ingredients as the driving force behind the ads, the goal was to get the 'Vieux Pontarlier' name into american minds.

With the focus on copywriting, the headlines where written in a rhythmic prose to mimic the creative literary minds of the early 1900's. Decorative natural patterning was created using the core ingredients of Fennel, Green Anise & Wormwood.

Strategy
Playing off of layered glass, the logo is constructed from three geometric facets which link into a solid form. A different logo was created for each sector of the company, following it's own color scheme and feel.

The historic rorschach psychological tests, created by Hermann Rorschach, were my main source of inspiration as I created a unique font with Ink and paper. Resulting in a display typeface which could be applied to various mediums.

Straying away from user-generated content websites, The Black Box Agency runs solely on information gathered from inspections preformed on an annual basis by their trusted agents. Giving the public a bias free showcase of top-notch establishments through their website and mobile applications.

Strategy
Giving new life to the Bexley Co-Op, the color palette reflects their modern thinking while also keeping with their local grass-root ways of operation. A strong voice was also established through print, speaking out against mass produced produce while providing a sustainable alternative.
